Konkuk University (President Won Jong-beop) secured 85 student spots in the '2026 Student Startup Team 300+', more than doubling last year's selection. This achievement underscores Konkuk’s ongoing commitment to fostering a robust startup ecosystem among its students.
Selected teams are excelling across various fields, including AI, software development, environmental technology, and biotechnology. The 'Dojeon' team, led by international student Rior, won first place in the international student track, drawing significant attention.
The university’s Startup Support Office has implemented diverse programs to support these selections, offering certification and scholarships of 500,000 won each to the final teams. The success is attributed to the active role played by student-led startup clubs like KUVC and Inactor Konkuk.
