Konkuk University’s Professor Park Shin-ae's team has developed a smart healing agriculture program aimed at the occupational rehabilitation of physically disabled individuals who use mobility aids. The program will be field-tested in four regions—capital region, Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, and Jeju—to verify its applicability in different areas and lay the groundwork for nationwide expansion.

Field tests are being conducted across these regions with a focus on evaluating the effectiveness of the program at healing farms. The research team plans to comprehensively assess participants' physical functions, job performance capabilities, and psychological changes, using this data to standardize the smart healing agriculture program and develop strategies for its national dissemination and distribution.

The field tests are supported by the Rural Development Administration. To accommodate participants’ physical characteristics and work environments, the research team is implementing task-oriented training methods that utilize raised planters and smart agricultural equipment.
