OpenBlog News turns announcements from Korean companies, government bodies and public institutions into short, fact-based news in English. It is run by OPENBLOG (www.openblog.com).
How articles are made
- New releases are picked up from the category, region and topic RSS feeds of Korea Newswire, a press-release distribution service.
- An AI language model running on our own server reads the original release and writes a news article using only facts stated in the release, without marketing language or speculation. The Korean article is then translated into English.
- Articles are automatically rejected and rewritten if they contain a number that does not appear in the original, or copy too much of the original wording.
- Every article names the issuing organization and links to the original release. Claims about products, performance or outlook are the issuer's, not ours.
- Photos are those distributed with the release, credited to the issuer. When a release has no photo we use an AI-generated illustration and say so.
- Sections follow Korea Newswire's classification: 13 industries with 143 subsections, 11 regions and 30 topics.
