Gradiant named Hari Prasad as Managing Director for India to lead growth in semiconductors, data centers, and energy. With nearly three decades of experience in water technology leadership, most recently at Pentair, Prasad will oversee Gradiant's expansion into these sectors.
The company has secured several new design-build contracts in chips, electronics, and clean energy, including a repeat award from a global chipmaker expanding its fab. Gradiant plans to deliver ultrapure water, wastewater treatment, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems to meet strict discharge standards while ensuring continuous production.
To support this momentum, Gradiant is expanding its India team by more than 40% this year, including at the Gradiant Engineering Center in Coimbatore. CEO Prakash Govindan stated that India is becoming a critical location for building AI supply chains and that these contract wins are strong endorsements of Gradiant's capabilities.
