Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the 12th World Green Economy Summit (WGES) will take place from October 21-22 in Dubai. The event will feature 135 speakers including ministers, business leaders, government officials, decision-makers, experts, and innovators.
The summit’s theme is 'From Success to Scale: Showcasing the Green Economy,' focusing on energy technology & infrastructure, business strategy & transition, water & food security, and finance. It will also explore cross-cutting themes such as artificial intelligence, governance, and system enablers including supply chains and the circular economy.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, MD & CEO of DEWA, and Chairman of WGEO, emphasized that the summit aims to bridge perspectives and foster collaboration among governments, private sector, investors, international organizations, and innovators. He highlighted the importance of moving from ambitious goals to practical implementation.
