The '2026 Songnae Movie Street Festa' will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the clock tower. The event will feature busking performances and prize giveaway events, with large TVs and giveaways prepared.
The festa, organized by the Songnae Movie Street Merchants Association and supported by Bucheon City, aims to revitalize the local commercial district. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with lucky ticket distribution and drawing, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with busking performances.
Park Kwang-yong, head of the Merchants Association, said, 'Thanks to Bucheon City's support, it has been a source of strength for struggling merchants,' adding, 'We ask for much interest and support.' The event is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
