Convenience store chain GS25 has partnered with dessert brand Lollimelo to launch a limited edition pistachio glutinous rice cake.

In September, GS25 had gained popularity with its yogurt glutinous rice cakes and is now collaborating again with Lollimelo to introduce the 'Limited Edition Pistachio Glutinous Rice Cake' filled with baked pistachios and ice cream. The price is 3900 won.
Starting from July 7, pre-orders can be made through the 'Our Neighborhood GS' app, with collection points available from July 14 in designated stores, and online availability beginning on July 15. A pop-up event will take place at the GS25 Gwangnam-gu Yeoksam Branch.
Ihahrim MD of GS25 stated that the decision to launch this new product was based on the success of the first edition yogurt glutinous rice cakes, which topped quick commerce sales and received a warm reception. She added that they will continue to introduce differentiated desserts to create trends.
