Biopharmaceutical firm Qurient published a scientific paper in the journal Science Advances demonstrating the combined effect of Mocaciclib and TOP1 inhibitor ADCs.
Key points
•Mocaciclib and TOP1i ADC Synergy Study
•HRR Gene Expression Suppression for Enhanced ADC Therapy
•QP101 Development and Dual Payload Platform Commercialization
Qurient, a Kosdaq-listed company (115180), published a study in the international academic journal 'Science Advances' showing the effectiveness of combining Mocaciclib (Mocaciclib) with an anti-cancer treatment based on TOP1 inhibitors. The research was conducted jointly with POSTECH, NCI, and the University of Maryland.
The core finding is that Mocaciclib blocks transcription factors MYC and E2F to suppress HRR gene expression, thereby enhancing ADC therapeutic effects. This confirmed that combining Mocaciclib with a TOP1 inhibitor significantly improves anti-cancer efficacy.
Qurient plans to advance clinical research based on these results for CDK7 inhibitors and TOP1 inhibitor ADCs, particularly focusing on the development of QP101, an antibody-drug conjugate. The company is also working towards commercializing a platform that can apply this payload combination to various antibody targets.
