The Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center and the Korean Counseling Association signed an agreement on September 29 to support youth mental health.

The Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center (Director Shin So-mi) and the Korean Counseling Association (President Kim Chang- Hyo) agreed to strengthen collaboration by linking their professional expertise in counseling and human resources to address various challenges faced by young people.

Both organizations plan to promote mental health support programs for youth in Seoul, enhance connections with youth policies, facilitate exchanges of specialized counseling personnel, and expand the outcomes of forums and academic events. These efforts aim to establish a solid foundation for practical cooperation.

The president of the Korean Counseling Association stated that this agreement will allow them to focus more on supporting young people's mental health as they are at the center of national mental well-being. Director Shin So-mi of the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center also expressed that through collaboration with professional institutions, young people can receive necessary services closer to home.
