Key points

  • Contains Yellow Mugwort Extract Powder (Gastil®), an individually recognized functional ingredient for stomach health.
  • Easy to consume, containing seven nutritional components including Vitamin A and Vitamin B6 in one tablet.
  • Confirmed improvement in gastrointestinal symptoms and quality of life related to indigestion in human application tests.

Dapharm announced that it launched 'Wistro,' a health supplement containing Yellow Mugwort Extract Powder (Gastil®), an individually recognized functional ingredient for stomach health, on the 30th.

Wistro was developed for daily stomach health management amid various dietary habits, such as irregular meals, frequent dining out, consuming spicy foods, and high-caffeine beverages.

The core ingredient, Yellow Mugwort Extract Powder (Gastil®), is an individually recognized functional ingredient whose function related to stomach health has been recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).

This ingredient confirmed its action related to stomach lining protection through cell and animal experiments, and showed significant improvement compared to the placebo group in four key indicators—stomach and intestinal symptoms and quality of life related to indigestion—in human application tests targeting adults with functional indigestion.

Wistro includes a total of seven nutritional components, including Yellow Mugwort Extract Powder, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, zinc, folic acid, Vitamin E, and selenium. The product is conveniently formulated to be taken once daily, once tablet, with water.

Dapharm explained that as interest in stomach health management increases due to irregular eating habits, the company hopes Wistro will be a choice for managing general stomach health in daily life.
