•Funds are planned for 'Ippuda' platform enhancement, overseas marketing, and attracting foreign patients.
•'Ippuda' connects foreign users with domestic medical institutions and supports four languages.
Kiip Corporation plans to accelerate the growth of 'Ippuda' by connecting prior investment with government commercialization funds through this selection. 'LIPS II' is a program where operating companies (investment institutions) that first invest in small businesses receive matching support of up to three times (up to 200 million won) from the government.
The selected company will receive various forms of support from the Small Business and Market Agency and the initial investment accelerator association, which is the main organizer. Support includes investment IR pitching, investor networking and consulting, participation in domestic and international exhibitions, and mentoring from tax, legal, and patent experts.
Kiip Corporation secured investment from the Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, the operator of this program, and will use this to receive government matching commercialization funds. The company plans to use the secured funds to enhance the 'Ippuda' platform, conduct overseas marketing, and expand channels for attracting foreign patients.
'Ippuda' is a service that connects foreign users seeking Korean medical services, such as plastic surgery, dermatology, and dentistry, with verified domestic medical institutions. The service features an in-app connection structure allowing users to search for clinics and request consultations, supporting four languages including Japanese, English, and traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
Kiip Corporation has previously raised a cumulative total of approximately 1 billion won from domestic and international investors, including global accelerator Antler. Furthermore, it has been recognized for its growth potential by being selected for the Google Play 'Changgu Program' 8th cohort and the Korea Tourism Organization's 'Growth Support Program for Medical Tourism Attraction Businesses.'
