The academic conference was co-hosted by the Asia Pacific Knee Arthroscopy, Artificial Joint, Shoulder Joint and Sports Medicine Society (APKASS) and the Korean Arthroscopy Society (KAS), focusing on the theme, 'From Asia-Pacific Heritage to Global Horizon.'
Participants engaged in academic exchange, sharing the latest treatment knowledge across various orthopedic fields, including knee joints, shoulder joints, foot joints, and hip joints.
Honorary Director Lee Myung-chul, a founding member of APKASS, served as an Advisory Committee member, contributing to the setting of academic direction, while Representative Director Lee Sang-hoon supported the conference operation as the Vice Chair of the Finance Committee.
Notably, Representative Director Lee Sang-hoon chaired sessions on Sept. 11, including 'ICL Session 2 (Knee)' and 'Luncheon Symposium 3-2,' leading academic discussions on complex knee ligament injuries and meniscal repair.
Honorary Director Lee Myung-chul stated that the conference was a meaningful venue for experts from various countries to discuss the latest research and treatment directions beyond the Asia-Pacific region. Representative Director Lee Sang-hoon added that the event was valuable for discussing various issues encountered in clinical practice with domestic and international medical professionals.
