Argentina has announced a new investor visa citizenship program set to accept applications in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Key points

  • 2026 Q4 application submission
  • Investment options: donation or bond purchase
  • Argentina's strategy for global investment

At the 'Argentina Week' event in Paris, Argentine Minister of Economy Luis Caputo and Chief of Cabinet Diego Santilli detailed the specifics of the investment immigration citizenship program. The program offers two main investment options: a donation of $350,000 or purchasing government bonds worth $800,000.

The Argentinian government views this initiative as crucial for attracting foreign capital and advancing economic reforms. Henley & Partners CEO Juerg Steffen praised Argentina's efforts to strengthen its global standing through such initiatives.

This program aligns with Argentina’s broader strategy of leveraging its energy potential, key minerals, and emerging tech industries to attract international investment. Henley & Partners asserts that it will help Argentina secure a base for attracting mobile capital and businesses.
