Yeongju City (Mayor Park Chung-oo) announced that it will host the '2026 Yeongju Haejo Moonlight Wind Music Festival' on October 9th at Yeongju Haejo. The event commemorates the 100th anniversary of Korean Language Day, connecting the legacy of King Sejong and the significance of Hangul through traditional culture and art.

The festival will include an exhibition and award ceremony for the 'Sage Scholar's Virtues Hangul Character Art Competition' winners, as well as a pansori concert titled 'Sejong Idoja,' starting from 5 PM. The event aims to provide residents with opportunities to experience King Sejong and Hangul through traditional arts.

Yeomin will also be organizing various traditional music and art programs at Yeongju Haejo in the second half of the year, offering more details on participating in the 'Sage Scholar's Virtues Hangul Character Art Competition' and attending the Moonlight Wind Music Festival.
