The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Arts Management Support Center wrapped up the '2026 Art Showcase Pop-Up' in Seoul's Yeonnam-dong from September 23 to 25, showcasing products and content by participating enterprises.
Key points
•10 initial art enterprises
•On-site sales and consumer feedback
•Follow-up market expansion and collaboration support
Ten initial art-based businesses participated, presenting a variety of goods and services including traditional Korean color-based gouache paint kits and immersive exhibition contents using XR technology. Consumer feedback will be used to support their market entry strategies.
The Arts Management Support Center provided daily visitor and sales data reports for each company during the pop-up period and plans to facilitate follow-up meetings and agreements in October and November to support further collaboration among participants. Other art-based businesses are also expected to host similar pop-ups.
This event helped initial art enterprises gain direct feedback from potential customers, providing opportunities for growth. Continued support and collaboration are anticipated to drive the development of the arts sector.
