The Arts Management Center successfully held a startup competition to evaluate and support business ideas from teams identified through the Art Business Challenge program.

Key points

  • 11 teams participated
  • ArteL won the main prize
  • Fantasia Label and Byjunna received runner-up awards

On February 2, the Arts Management Center conducted a startup competition for 11 outstanding graduates of the 'Art Business Challenge' (AveChallenge) program, an entrepreneurship education initiative. The event aimed to share and support business ideas in the arts sector.

The winning team was AI audio guide service 'ArteL', while 'Fantasia Label,' a classical artist sound remix platform, won first runner-up, and 'Byjunna,' a barrier-free content planning and production platform for performances and cultural arts, took second runner-up. The participating teams demonstrated their ideas based on the methodologies learned in AveChallenge, validating customer and market responses within a short timeframe.

Winning teams received certificates and prizes from the center's director, along with opportunities to join Art Korea Lab for a short-term residency in 2027, exemption from application review processes for initial startup support programs, and follow-up mentoring. The Arts Management Center hopes this event will help startups confirm new possibilities and expand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the arts sector.
