Doosan Enerbility has proven its competitiveness in the Vietnam gas combined cycle power plant market, following the Omon 4 power plant last year, and has now signed the construction contract for the Omon 3 power plant. The plant has a capacity of 1,155MW and is scheduled for completion in 2030.
For this project, the company formed a consortium with PTSC to take on the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, and will also directly supply the steam turbine. This marks the first time Doosan Enerbility's steam turbine will be applied to a gas combined cycle power plant in Vietnam.
As of this year, Doosan Enerbility has secured five orders, totaling approximately 3.87 trillion won, both domestically and internationally, demonstrating active performance in the gas combined cycle power plant market.
