LG CNS, led by CEO Hyeon Shin-kyu, has entered into a joint investment agreement with General Atlantic, a $130 billion (approximately 175 trillion won) investment company. The partnership aims to diversify LG CNS's existing IT services and AX business while establishing a scalable global market foundation.
LG CNS plans to expand its customer base in North America and Asia-Pacific regions by identifying and investing in software and AI technology companies with General Atlantic. CEO Hyeon emphasized the importance of securing enterprise software ahead of time given the acceleration of innovation driven by artificial intelligence.
The investment details will be disclosed on a case-by-case basis once target companies are confirmed. Both parties aim to strengthen IT services and AX business integration using customer bases while also expanding intellectual property rights-protected software assets.
