The Seocho Youth Center successfully completed a student-created musical 'When That Day Comes' based on their exploration of history and creative activities.

Key points

  • students created historical musical
  • five-stage program for youth
  • post-performance memorial for martyrs

Selected for the 2026 National Commemoration Department's theme activity competition, the center ran a program where teenagers actively explored history and expressed its value through creative endeavors.

This program consisted of five stages: historical site visits, professional training, special lectures and festivals, musical performances, and video distribution, allowing participants to deeply understand the significance of the 3·1 Movement and express their thoughts creatively.

Through active participation in production and preparation for the performance, students not only gained a deeper understanding of history but also enhanced collaboration, communication, and responsibility. They also worked to spread the value of the 3·1 Movement through community engagement.
