The Geumcheon Cultural Foundation is holding the '2026 Geumcheon, Dancing Anyang Stream' event as part of the Anyang Stream Culture Week program this year. This event is designed as a citizen-participation cultural arts event through a community dance parade that connects the daily sounds and dances of the region.
Seven dance teams will participate in a relay performance starting at 2 p.m. in Geumcheon. These teams will showcase various dance genres and have prepared a stage where attendees can experience familiar urban sounds reconstructed as music in a new way.
From 3 p.m., the 'City Rhythm' community dance parade will take place at the Geumcheon District Office Plaza and along the Anyang Stream area. Participants are scheduled to dance to music created using sounds collected by each team, creating a scene where different generations and dance genres are connected into one.
