•DATA Network registers over 250 million contributions
•Combining with Walrus could provide TEE for AI model evaluation
The Sui Foundation has invested 400 billion won ($300 million) in the DATA Network, a protocol that verifies the origin of AI training data. This investment makes it the largest shareholder in the network, surpassing previous investments by PIP Labs and Data Foundation itself.
The DATA Network has registered over 250 million contributions and processes more than three million receipts daily on average. It also ranks among the top 20 globally based on blockchain fees.
Combining with Walrus, a platform for developers and businesses to move and verify data between applications and AI models, could open up possibilities for verifiable trusted execution environments (TEE) for evaluating and fine-tuning AI models.
