Payment specialist KSNet presented the results of an AI-based next-generation payment infrastructure PoC at the 'Solarana Summit Korea' on March 30.
Key points
•AI agent-driven gas station search and payment scenario demonstration
•Validation of USDC stablecoin transactions on Solana test network
•Presentation of KSPAY for franchisee settlement in native currency
At the 'Solana Summit Korea,' held in Yeouido, KSNet showcased a mobility payment scenario where an AI agent located a gas station and completed the payment process. The demonstration involved AP2, x402, and Solana networks.
The PoC validated that stablecoin USDC transactions could function on the Solana test network (Devnet). This confirmed the feasibility of machine-to-machine payments in small-value transactions like fuel purchases, highlighting the necessity of post-payment operations such as settlement and refunds for actual commerce.
KSNet proposed a structure where its payment system KSPAY handles verification, receipt processing, and settlement requests. This allows franchisees to receive payments in won without directly holding virtual assets.
